Job Description:
PragmaEdge is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Oracle Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of database concepts and a keen interest in learning and working with Oracle technologies.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of Oracle databases.
Write, test, and deploy SQL and PL/SQL code to support application development.
Collaborate with developers and analysts to design database schemas, structures, and data models.
Optimize and tune SQL queries to improve database performance.
Participate in data migration and data integration tasks.
Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues.
Document database configurations, processes, and procedures.
Stay updated with the latest Oracle technologies and best practices.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Basic understanding of relational database concepts.
Familiarity with SQL and PL/SQL programming.
Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work well in a team environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
Internship or academic project experience with Oracle databases.
Knowledge of Oracle Database architecture and administration.
Understanding of database performance tuning and optimization techniques.
Familiarity with Oracle development tools such as SQL Developer or TOAD.
Basic knowledge of data modeling tools and techniques.
